ScaleHub & IAOP joint initiatives
We’re happy to announce we’ll be partnering with IAOP to produce several educational experiences, both on- and offline. Stay tuned for details on a webinar about how businesses can best deploy crowdsourcing, featuring one of our customers. Additionally, February 16-18 we will exhibit at the 2021 Outsourcing World Summit (OWS), the IAOP’s annual conference, held in Rancho Mirage, California.
3 reasons we joined IAOP
First and foremost, in becoming an IAOP member, we’re joining a strong community of business process outsourcers (BPOs), global business services (GBS) and large enterprises, and we look forward to the networking opportunities this provides.
Another driver for becoming an IAOP member is the group’s focus on impact sourcing, a business practice where companies prioritize suppliers that intentionally hire and provide career development opportunities to people who otherwise have limited prospects for formal employment. ScaleHub’s solution is a great fit with impact sourcing initiatives from the IAOP and their members.
Lastly, we decided to join IAOP at this time because the group has demonstrated a commitment to sharing much needed information about the impact the COVID-19 is having on the industries we serve. The Everest Group, a fellow IAOP member, reports that more than 70% of enterprises leverage only a single location in one country for global business services deliveries. Lately we’ve been helping companies like these with operations affected by the pandemic, as crowdsourcing offers a location-independent method for filling operational gaps. As of today, none of our customers have been negatively impacted by the crisis; all SLA requirements have not only been upheld, but in more than 80% of cases, they’ve been exceeded.
